The irony of life

Last night I was traveling towards Trivandrum and i couldn't help but notice these two couples sitting opposite to us in the train. One was an old couple and the other seemed newly weds. The old couple were sitting far from each other, not even looking at each other for a moment... while the younger couple couldnt keep their hands off each other. What a lovely contrast it seemed. We could see the present and the future both at the same time. I am sure the young couple will also end up like the other in no time, but the comparison was amazing.

I wonder why love between people dies down as time passed by. Responsibilities, tensions and other worries do take a major part of the time and love tends to take a back seat. I feel a right balance can be struck between emotions as well. Your tensed times can just be a part of your day insted of spending your entire day worrying about something or the other. In such situations i relly feel bad for the ladies. They are after all the foundations and the pillars of a family, they are the ones who keep the family together when the man is toiling it out in the open to bring home money. They are the ones who fill our stomachs and do all the dirty work at home. They deserve to be pampered and loved as much now as they were when they were young.

In current times I feel the kids should take the opportunity to take time out and send their ageing parents on a second or a third honeymoon to rekindle the love they shared ages ago. I sure plan to do it with my parents. So who ever reads this article, please do take time out and think and do something for you parents and let there be love everywhere.
